For me, it's almost too early to tell...
For the first issue, my favorite was Dana Prescott. (Gotta love a woman with red hair!) And she can fly and throw fire too, which are definite plusses.

But then again, when issue 2 came around, I was fortunate enough to get the alternate "sexy cover," with Mari and some bed sheets. Bill likened her somewhat to Kate Beckinsale, and ever since... well, I do love Kate for her Underworld performances and this comic book's got vampires and werewolves too! Plus, she seems to have telepathy, which has been sexy ever since Jean Gray!

Telepathy does have pretty clear positives and negatives, though...

Red heads are where it's at! I've taught you well my young padawan learner. Keep up with your studies!

Yes, Mari Monaghan is physically based on Kate Beckinsale. I figured I wouldn't look like such a stalker if I was looking at pictures of her for reference! Now, instead of looking all creepy, I am doing legit research. Idea Sometime I have good ideas!

By the way, I also based Dana Prescott off an actress...but I will make you do your homework on that one. Wink

Kate Beckinsale is a hottie. What celebrity did you base the character Dana Prescott off of?

We think alike Jess; I guess that means you are a super-genius! Very Happy As for who Dana Prescott is based on, I'm not telling. Someone should be able to figure it out (this excludes Craig, who does know). Maybe I should award a prize to the person who figures it out...

Well... That doctor on Star Trek, The Next Generation was a redhead... but I think Counselor Troy was much hotter. Too bad you clotheslined her... now everyone in our family is cut-off! Mad

Hm... Moira, the Celtic mutant doctor on the X-men was also a red. Which reminds me... Was that Moira in the Wolverine movie, helping Striker?

This might be a long shot... was she based off the human version of Ariel, from the Little Mermaid? I've kinda always had a thing for her...

Well, those are my three guesses! I've used them all at once.

You seem stuck on the Star Trek connection. I'm afraid you're wrong there....NO! Wait, you may be on to something. The "model" for Dana Prescott was in the last Star Trek film. I almost forgot.

Scarlet Johanson? She's a hot redhead in the G.I. Joe movie. Very Happy

You are mistaken sir. Scarlet Johanson is neither a red head nor in the G.I. Joe movie. You are the weakest link, goodbye! Twisted Evil

But... I thought you said Scarlet was in the movie! I know She's not a natural red, but she can always dye it. (She was blonde in The Island.)

Scarlet from G.I. Joe is played by Rachel Nichols (the same actress who played the hot green chick from Star Trek a few months ago).

Oh, scarlet the GI. Joe character... hey, man... I knew G.I. Joe best from their action figures and cross-advertising on Transformers VHS. I know Duke, cobra and snake eyes, that's about it! And the Baroness pirat

I think my two favorites so far are Monaghan and Dracula (admittedly though I'm biased because I just really liked drawing them)
I'm most interested to see more about who Dr. Wells is and see what he can do with that helmet and those gloves.
Beyond that I think the Knights of Andromeda seem like a really cool idea. Looking forward to seeing more of those stories.

Hi everybody! Just thought I'd join the forum and throw in my 2 cents. I think Mari is my favorite, followed by Dana, with Dracula in very close third. I like Mari because she has serious power that sometimes gets a little beyond her control. Dana is great because she has fiery attitude to match that red hair of hers. And Drac rocks because he just has a way with women LOL. Can't wait for the next issue to come out!

Trust me, you haven't seen anything yet!

Fans of Mari are probably not going to be fond of Dracula in a few issues... No
