I'm switching printers!

Just so you all are aware, I am going to be using ka-blam digital printing as my printer/seller for now on. I have had too many headaches with comixpress and today was the proverbial last straw with them. I already talked with ka-blam and they are happy to take in Reliant Publishing! I have used them in the past and they do quality work and deliver the product(s) ordered pretty darn quick!

I have to reformat the files for each issue and change up the legal mumbo jumbo on the inside front cover for each, so I will be busy this weekend. Issues 1-3 of RELIANT PRESENTS and issue 1 of TALES FROM THUNDER CITY at ka-blam will be listed as second printings. This doesn't mean much, unless you are a diehard collector, but I may be pulling my issues from comixpress all together, so those first printings may be going the way of the dinosaurs.

You may be wondering what this all means to you. Basically, not much. The comics will be available via ka-blam beginning in a week or two. I will make an announcement when the deal is done. I would encourage everyone to register with ka-blams online store, as that is where all Reliant Publishings issues will be. I have a link for them posted right on the front page of the site here, so please check them out!

Purchasing them online, from the printer is the preferred way to go. The more people who purchase copies, the better Reliant Publishing looks...especially with the printer becoming a distributor for comic book stores! The better Reliant looks, all the better!

Bill showed me the pistol card and I said "pistol" out loud like an idiot. So, Russ heard me and knew what I saw. Then, Bill was all mad because he didn't want Russ to know he had that card. It was a disaster. In fact, every game we played was kind of messed up for one reason or another. It's time to play again. This time, I want to at least win ONCE! I think Beatlesmama should play. In fact, I think we should all get together at my house for my bday and have food and play clue... in which I win every game.

I think it a good idea in general to have a game of Clue on MY birthday... but right now, I'm thinking about possibly going to see Anja that weekend. If those plans fall through (or if I see Anja some weekend prior) then I will be happy to play Clue with you, Cousin!

[size=18) OK, here is how the ordering experience went with The Bill's new printer "Ka-Blam".

I ordered on Sunday, 8/9/09. The same day I received an email with my order and a receipt. So far so good.

The next day (Monday) I received an email saying that my order was upgraded to "Processing". Two days later (8/12/09) I received an email that said "Shipped". Hooray! Finally I am getting the most coveted Reliant Presents #3!

Today (8/14/09) I received my package of comics. They are wrapped very nice in one of those plastic comic sleevy things. The comics are pristine and I sit right down to read it. Me very happy now!

Ordered Sunday and received on Friday. Not bad.

I am going to order my Thunder City #2 now.

HAHAHA! None of that was even in the script or anything, that was just me having fun. I figured Elvis, bigfoot and aliens are always suspected of doing unexplained things, so I'd throw them up on the board. I included Mick Jagger just because I had watched him in the movie "Freejack" a few days before...and Craig is a big Stones fan.
