I know it's a wee bit early to announce...well, a LOT bit early actually, since it's not until May, but I will be in attendance. I got my information today. I hope at least a couple of you will drop by for a visit!

Alright, with that out of my system, many cities in our fine country (and various other countries around the world), have annual comic book conventions, usually in the summer months, April-September. Living in the Metro-Detroit area, we are home to the largest comic convention in Michigan every May. There are a few smaller ones around during the year, but The Motor City Comic Con is the big one with celebrities, costume contests, and of course, comic book people!

The Motor City Comic Con is May 14-16, 2010 (Friday-Sunday) at the Rock Financial Showplace 46100 Grand River Ave, Novi, MI 48374.

G.I. Jooooe!

I was thinking, if all those G.I. Joe Public Service Announcements at the end of every episode told us how, "Knowing is half the battle.", what is the other half?

I decided I would go right to longtime Joe, the Warrant Officer, Flint. Not only is he in the command chain, he's done some of those PSA's at the end of G.I. Joe AND he even did one on Family Guy! I figured that no one should know better than he.
